No more than 650 hand-numbered bottles are drawn from each sherry butt and each bottle carries the number of the cask in which it was matured.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eColor - Lovely color – Deep, rich mahogany with a lovely string of pearls that formed when poured from that welcomed ABV.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eNose - The aromas are already filling the room with rich spices and sweet fruity notes – Cinnamon, nutmeg, red tea, butter pecan, all sorts of mixed dried fruit – apple, raisin, fig, cranberry, prune – toffee, baked almonds now, dark chocolate and dry, seasoned oak. After a bit of time it’s like fruit cake and fudge. Delicious. This is another one of those whiskies that you can really get lost in.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003ePalate - It comes in with this thick, rich and coating, sweet and fruity approach – apple, plum, raisin, cherry and even a bit of apricot now – with wonderful spices that begin to show themselves around mid-palate – clove, cinnamon, nutmeg – then it all balances together quite nicely and dances around the tongue before making its way into a nice long finish. There’s also a bit of that nuttiness and chocolate around mid-palate back as well.
