Chateau Mukhrani Rkastieli - 2019 (750ml)

Made at one of the oldest wineries in the modern era, Chateau Mukhrani, this is a blend of Rkatsiteli 70% and Goruli mtsvane 30%.  This shows superb texture with the barest hint of vanilla from a brief sojourn through barrel after fermentation and aging in classic eartheware qvevri.

Fine and elegant attack on sweet ripe fruits: stone fruit, apricot, peach, pear lemon blended with floral and herbal notes, slight spicy honey. In harmony with each other.

Fine and subtile tastes. Fresh fruit notes of peach, pear, stone fruit. Well integrated tannins with slight nutty bitternis. Subtile honey presence with herbal eucapyptus cold notes and fresh long finish.

Full bodied structure of Rkatsiteli (most spread white grape) and floral elegance of Goruli Mtsvane (rare endemic kartlian variety) delivers elegant and complex wine with authentic tastes which combines Kartlian winemaking traditions and modern approach of classical winemaking methods.
