This is a blend of roughly 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, aged 156 months on the lees and with 5 g/l dosage.
Winemaker's Notes;
The color is golden gold. The bubble is still alive for this vintage of fullness. The greedy nose fully expresses ripe and candied fruit aromas (coating, fig, mango). The mouth, is round and silky. This wine is very expressive with a very long finish. AROMATIC PERSISTENCE is intense. It is a generous and balanced wine, symbol of harmony.
The bouquet of meadow flowers is punctuated by ripe citrus fruit. A few white fruits (poached pear, reinette apple) make a courteous appearance. The palate is precise and determined. It pursues a chewy, fresh citrus zest in a chiselled framework. Suggested with pike beurre nantais.
