The DD Grenache is a true reflection of the 2 terroirs of DOWIE DOOLE. Fruit sources from
the Dowie Vineyard, planted in 1955, on the cool sandy slopes of Blewitt Springs and the Doole Vineyard, planted in 1965, on the ancient rocks of Tatachilla.
The wine is crafted using the gentlest handling possible, destemmed not crushed, open fer-
mented using only hand plunging. The maturation in oak is kept short and only old oak is used to preserve grenache’s natural perfume of delicate fruits and delicate palate.
