This cuvée brings together the fruit of the work of 3 of our cooperators and represents 0.5 hectares of vines out of the 23 operated by our winegrowers.
A blend of two parcels of old vines where Cabernet Franc and Petit-Verdot dominate Cabernet Sauvignon. It only occurs in years when the Petit-Verdot is exceptional.
The plots of Cabernet-Franc, Petit-Verdot and Cabernet-Sauvignon are located on the edge of the Estuary and on the plateau of Artigues, enclosed in the middle of the illustrious Châteaux.
A favorable situation where our vines flourish fully on a clayey subsoil with gravelly deposits. Winemaker's Notes
