Aged 16 months in neutral French oak. Blend of 42% Grenache, 38% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah.

This is a carefully crafted blend meant to express the different aspects of the vineyard, while also featuring the interplay of these classic varieties.

Winemaker's Notes

A panoply of exotic aromas.

High notes: red cherry, bright raspberry, crushed herbs. Classic Grenache tales.

Bass notes: smoked blueberries, toasted orange peel, dark peppered meats sprinkled with candied violet.

The mind is pulled in different directions with each inhale: dried herbs...wet clay...an echo of eucalyptus...

It all culminates in a stirring finish: volume/amplitude - structure/mineral crispness - length/echoes of the contributions and balance of the three varieties.
