The 2012 Cotes Catalanes Grenache D66 is a blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 10% Carignan that was brought up in small barrels, 30% being new. Full-bodied, rich, sexy and yet still with solid focus and length, it has fabulous kirsch, dried herbs, licorice and chocolaty nuances all soaring from the glass. Long, heady and hedonistic, enjoy this beauty over the coming 4-5 years.
