The dusty, iron-rich terra rossa soils show on this Coonawarra Cab. There's brambly blackberry and black-cherry fruit along with warm earth-meets-iodine vibes and some minty, peppery nuances, too. Lifted acidity and chalky, saliva-zapping tannins dominate the palate. There's fruit and spice, too—they just need time to come to the fore.
