The 2019 Proprietary Red Blend Gravity, primarily Syrah with a touch of Viognier and Zinfandel, comes mostly from the Monte Rosso Vineyard. It has an opaque ruby-purple color and intense, aromatic layers of wild berry and blueberry jam, tar, apricot, aniseed, mint leaves and violet. The full-bodied palate is concentrated and ripe, with a surprisingly silky texture and loads of spicy accents fanning out on the long finish. This concentrated, deep and well-layered wine made from Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Viognier is absolutely drenched in ripe black fruits laced with tempting mint, clove and tobacco nuances.
