There is a beguiling mouth feel to the rich, round and caressing flavors that are blessed with good mid-palate fat. I like the velvety texture and there is excellent finishing depth and length to the relatively firm finish. Gruenchers is not in the model of a typical Chambolle as it's rarely delicate and lacy yet there is a generosity and depth to fine examples that make them most attractive.
